Beat Generator Online: Make AI Beats From a Prompt

Need a beat generator online that skips the setup? Type a vibe like "dark trap, 140 BPM, heavy 808s" and aisong.lol builds an instrumental beat you can loop, rap over, or drop under a video. This AI beat maker makes beats only: drums, bass, and melody, no vocals and no lyrics. Pick a style, hit generate, keep the one that hits.

AI beat maker: what it does in five seconds

Prompt in, beat out. The AI beat maker turns a short description into an instrumental beat built around drums, bass, and a hook. You get a backing track, not a finished song with a voice on it. As an AI music beat generator, it handles the drums and the melody together.

What: Instrumental beats from a text prompt. Trap, drill, boom bap, hip hop, R&B, and more.
Who: Rappers who need something to write to, creators who need a loop, producers hunting for a starting idea.
Not included: Vocals, lyrics, or stems split from an existing track.
Free: 3 generations with a free account.

How to make a beat in three steps

The beat generator online flow is the same every time: short prompt, quick listen, small tweak.

1. Describe the beat

Genre, tempo, mood, and one or two sounds. "Drill beat, sliding 808s, eerie piano, fast hats" is plenty.

2. Generate

aisong.lol builds the beat. Each run counts as one generation.

3. Tweak and keep it

Adjust tempo or drums in the prompt and run it again. Downloads are included on Pro and Premier, or with the $1.99 export add-on on the free plan.

Drum beat generator for loops and practice

Sometimes you only want the groove. Use the beat generator online as a drum beat generator: ask for "drums only, 90 BPM boom bap, dusty snare" and keep the melody out of it.

Drum loops are handy for practice, for writing bars, or as a bed under a talking video. Want mouth-made drums instead? The beatbox music maker does that.

AI beat generator styles: trap, drill, hip hop, and more

The AI beat generator reads genre words, so name the style you want. Some starting points:

Trap

808 slides, rolling hi-hats, sparse melody, 130 to 150 BPM.

Drill

Sliding bass, off-beat snares, dark keys. As a drill beat maker, it follows words like "cold", "eerie", and "fast hats".

Boom bap

Dusty drums, chopped-sample feel, 85 to 95 BPM.

R&B and soul

Smooth chords, soft kick, room to sing over. Use it as an R&B beat maker when you want space for a vocal.

Freestyle and cypher loops

A simple, steady loop with a clear kick and snare. A freestyle beat maker should leave room for bars, so ask for a sparse melody and a tempo you can ride.

Lofi

Warm keys and lazy drums. For a full chill track, try the lofi music generator.

AI beat maker free: what you get and where free ends

Yes, there is an AI beat maker free option, and it runs as a free music beats maker online, so there is nothing to install and no plugin folder to manage. Open the page, type, listen. You need a free account to generate, and we say so before you start, not after.

The free plan includes 3 generations with a free account, so you can try the free AI beat generator on three different styles. Each regeneration counts as one. You only pay if you choose a plan or a pack: Pro is $10/mo for 100 songs and Premier is $30/mo for 400 songs.

About rights: check the license terms on the pricing page before you sell or lease a beat. Read and save the current terms before you release a track, monetize a video, or sell a song built on a beat.

Beatmaker online: prompt tips that work

A beatmaker online works best with clear, short instructions. AI generated beats follow the words you give them, so a few habits help:

Random beat generator for when you are stuck

Blank prompt, blank brain? Treat it like a random beat generator. Try a loose prompt such as "surprise me, something bouncy" and see what comes back. Keep the one that sparks an idea, then refine it with a real genre and tempo.

Lead with genre, then mood: "trap, menacing" beats "a cool beat".
Say the tempo as a number or a word: 140 BPM, slow, fast.
Name two or three sounds, not ten: 808, bells, choir pad.
Say what it is for: rapping over, a TikTok loop, a stream intro.
Change one thing per try so you can hear what moved.

Create your own beat free, then take it further

Create your own beat free, then decide what it becomes. Want bars and a voice on it? The AI rap generator makes a full rap song with a beat and vocals. Want a sung track instead? Use the AI song generator, which works as an AI music beat maker and songwriter in one. Need a longer instrumental that is not built around drums? Try the AI instrumental generator.

Make your first beat online and write over it

Pick a style like trap, drill, or hip hop, and this beat generator online gives you an instrumental to write, practice, or sketch over. Add vocals later with the rap or song generator. For hand-programmed hi-hats, pair it with a DAW, and for clear rights today, use a licensed beat lease.

Questions

What is the best AI beat maker?

The best AI beat maker is the one whose beats you would actually rap or sing over. Give two or three tools the same prompt, like "dark trap, 140 BPM, heavy 808s", and keep the one with the cleanest drums and the most room for a vocal. Here you can test that with 3 free generations.

Is there a free trap beat maker?

Yes. Type "trap" plus a tempo and a mood, and it works as a trap beat maker. Free use is 3 generations with a free account. For a full trap song with rap vocals, use the AI rap generator.

Is the AI beat maker really free?

You can make beats without paying. The AI beat generator free tier includes 3 generations, and Pro starts at $10/mo for 100 songs when you want more. You only pay if you choose a plan or a pack.

Are the beats royalty-free?

That depends on the license terms on the pricing page, so read them before you sell or release.

Can I change the tempo and drums?

Describe the tempo and drum style in your prompt. Put BPM, drum pattern, or key in the prompt and the beat follows it as closely as it can.

What file do I get?

Beats download as a full mix in an audio file. Downloads are included on Pro and Premier; on the free plan they need the $1.99 export add-on.

Does it add rap or singing?

No. This tool makes instrumental beats only. For a rap with bars and a voice, use the AI rap generator. For a sung song, use the AI song generator.

How long are the beats?

Beats are short loops and full-length tracks, sized for practice and sketches. Shorter loops are easier to repeat under a video, and longer beats give you room for a full verse and hook.

Can I use a beat I make to rap on and post?

You can write and practice over it right away. It also works as a song beat maker online when you need a bed for your own melody. Posting, releasing, or selling depends on the license terms on the pricing page, so check them first.
