We grouped US song searches into four life events and averaged each calendar month over Oct 2022–Sep 2026. Birthday songs are the giant (~152,132 searches a month), ahead of wedding (~143,365), funeral (~50,396) and breakup songs (~39,954). Indexed against each event's own average, the calendar splits up: breakup songs top the seasonal index in Jan/Feb/Nov/Dec; funeral songs top the seasonal index in Mar; wedding songs top the seasonal index in Apr/May/Jun/Jul/Aug/Sep/Oct.

Method
- US Google search volume (English), monthly, Oct 2022–Sep 2026. 'Avg/mo' = mean of the latest 12 months (Oct 2025–Sep 2026); '3-yr change' = latest 12 months vs Oct 2022–Sep 2023.
- Calendar-month averages use all 48 months (Oct 2022–Sep 2026). "Owner by index" = the event whose search that month is furthest above its own annual mean.
