US Google searches for "ai music" averaged 1.6 in 2022 and 73.4 in 2026 on our scale, about a 46x rise. "ai song" grew about as fast, and "suno" rose from near zero in 2023 to 47.4 in 2026. "ai song generator" stays small, so people search for the idea and the brand rather than a generic tool. By state, curiosity is highest in tech-heavy states: California, District of Columbia, Washington, New York, Utah. It is lowest in Iowa, Maine, North Dakota, South Dakota. Louisiana is an outlier: it tops the "suno" map once Wyoming and Kansas are dropped.

What it means
AI music is now part of the conversation, and people want to know how it stacks up. If you have a hook of your own, an AI song generator can turn it into a full track with vocals in a few minutes. For a soundtrack to your own day, an AI music generator can score it to whatever mood you need.
Method
- Google search interest, US, web search, monthly 2004–Sep 2026 (shared scale) plus past-12-month state maps.
- Wyoming and Kansas are not included in state tables.
